Soham Museum Subgroups

Soham Museum has an almost unrilvalled reputation for delivering high quality outreach experiences.  Our subgroups give members of the public a variety of opportunities to get involved in local history.  Whether you are a local person with an interest in your own heritage, an armchair historian, a history buff, or just want to get to know Soham a bit better, we offer you a range of exciting ways to get involved in our local history.

Soham Museum History Group

Our regular schedule of bi-monthly History Group talks offer something for everyone.  Please see our dedicated page for further details.  We guarantee our guests the warmest welcome and an evening to remember.
Entrance £2.50 - FREE to Friends of Soham Museum

Museum Coffee Mornings

Soham Museum Coffee Mornings are a FREE, informal, popular and vibrant ‘drop in’ session held on the first Saturday of each month at Soham Library 10-12am, to which guests can bring along items of local and social interest and generally share a love of history with like-minded people.  Please do come along and meet us.  Click the above link for details

Soham Local and Family History Group

Soham Local and Family History Group is a friendly, informal group of people who are passionate about local and family history, and developing the skills to carry out research projects.   FREE to join.  Please see our dedicated page for further details.

Archaeology Cambridgeshire East (ACE)

ACE is part of the county wide initiative known as Jigsaw.  Mentored by Oxford Archaeology (East), we are an active amateur archaeology group with a remit to investigate unreported and under-reported archaeological sites across the east fen-edge.   Please see our dedicated page for details on how to join us.
