Soham Museum has an excellent reputation for delivering high quality outreach experiences. Our subgroups give members of the public a variety of opportunities to get involved in local history. Whether you are a local person with an interest in your own heritage, an armchair historian, a history buff, or just want to get to know Soham a bit better, we offer you a range of exciting ways to get involved in our local history.

Entrance £3.00 - FREE to Friends of Soham Museum Museum Coffee MorningsSoham Museum Coffee Mornings are a FREE, informal, popular and vibrant ‘drop in’ session held on the first Saturday of each month at Soham Library 10-12am, to which guests can bring along items of local and social interest and generally share a love of history with like-minded people. Soham Local and Family History GroupSoham Local and Family History Group is currently taking a break but please do feel free to come along and share your interest with us at our monthly Coffee Mornings at Soham Library.
Archaeology Cambridgeshire East (ACE)ACE is part of the county wide initiative known as Jigsaw. Mentored by Oxford Archaeology (East), we are an active amateur archaeology group with a remit to investigate unreported and under-reported archaeological sites across the east fen-edge.
